Real estate firm Macrotech developers 10 land parcels acquired the final financial year to develop housing projects with a total selling price of around ₹ 24,000 crore, as it wants to expand the trade amidst strong demand.
The listed unit Macrotech Developers, who sell properties under the Lodha brand, gave a guidance for 2024–25 that this land parcel would receive a revenue capacity of ₹ 21,000 crore.
To expand its business, the company forms partnership with lands as well as landlords to develop housing projects.
In its latest operating update, Macrotech Developers said it has acquired two new land parcels in Pune, which is with GDV (gross development price) of G 4,300 crores.
During the entire 2024–25 fiscal, the company acquired 10 land parcels with about 23,700 million GDVs in MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region), Bangalore and Pune, which crossed its entire year guidance of ₹ 21,000 crore.
Of the total 10 land deals, the company did not mention the number of outright purchases.
On other major operational matrix, Macrotech Developers recorded a 14 percent increase in sales booking in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year.
Its sale booking was ₹ 4,230 crore in the year-old period.
Sales booking of Macrotech developers increased from ₹ 14,520 crore to ₹ 17,630 crore to 21 percent in 2023-24 financial year.
Macrotech developers are one of the country’s major real estate developers.
It is a significant appearance in MMR, Pune and Bengaluru housing markets. Apart from residential development, the company is constructing industrial and logistics parks in major cities. It also makes the office and retail real estate place.
Macrotech Developers, led by Abhishek Lodha, are currently engaged in a legal battle with the House of Abhinandan Lobha, a company formed by his younger brother, on the use of the brand name ‘Lodha’.
